The following is a public service message, so you don’t have to thank me for it. However, I do accept cash, checks, and money orders. For ages I’ve seen comic strips and cartoons showing someone climbing a high mountain and asking the guru who lives there, “What is the meaning of life?” And I’m sure many of us have considered that question, at least, to some degree. I’m sure some of you believe I’m the devil incarnate due to the tales of my school days at Athens High. I’ve told of how I was disruptive in class and how my school teachers danced with joy upon my graduation. I’ve told 12 years worth of stories, from bein’ sent to the principal in the first grade to skippin’ class as a senior. Well, I’ve decided to come clean and tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothin’ but the truth. I lied. I am innocent, and that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it! Hey! Just look at this face; do I look like someone who would do the things I’ve done? Be first to comment this article | Views: 124 |

There’s been a heap ‘o talk over the last several years about global warmin’, and quite honestly, I’ve never put much belief into it. I guess I’ve always figured it was nothin’ more’n cyclic events. You know how it is, every several years or so it seems one season is wetter, drier, colder, or hotter’n another. However, when I’m sizzlin’ like a pork chop in a fryin’ pan, I do question if there ain’t somethin’ to it after all. Be first to comment this article | Views: 104 |

As I lay there, the blood that gives me life was slowly leaving my body. Having always heard that one should apply pressure to a wound, I also knew it wouldn't do me much good since I only had two hands and the wounds were many. It was really quite amazing to me that I really hadn't noticed any pain as the needle-pointed teeth punctured and ripped my skin. On the other hand, that's quite often the case when you are having fun. Be first to comment this article | Views: 172 |

As I’ve often said, I ain’t the brightest lightbulb in the house, so you know I didn’t come up with this. On the other hand, all of us should have thought of it. Now, I know you are all aware of our problem with illegal aliens...., and I ain’t referrin’ to Alf or ET. I’m talkin’ about those who come into this country with criminal intent. While it’s easy for anyone to claim they are coming here to work, we all know there are many that the only work being considering is the total destruction of our way of life. Of course and in addition, there are the drug runners and coyotes who shuttle illegal aliens across the border. Be first to comment this article | Views: 228 |
