The bride’s veil was fashioned of ivory silk illusion and crystal beading on the edges. The bride carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, Esperanza roses, teacup roses, orchids and greenery. In keeping with the bridal tradition, something old was a handkerchief given to her on the day of christening by her godmother, Karen Kilgore Fuselier, of Baton Rouge, something new-her bridal gown and shoes, something borrowed- the wedding veil borrowed from a friend, Morgan White Grantham and something blue, the traditional garter.
