Lauren Nicole Brown and Travis Broox  Warren, both of Haughton, are engaged to be married Saturday, August 22, 2009 at six o’clock in the evening at Faith Chapel, First Baptist Church in Shreveport. Dr. Fred Lowery will officiate.

Lauren is the daughter of Don and Gina Brown of Haughton. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Vergo of Bossier City, Dorothy Brown and the late James A. Brown of Bastrop, Cathrine Woolard and the late Harold L. Woolard of Haughton.

Travis is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ted Warren and Phyllis Warren. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Warren of Shreveport and Betty Bounds and the late George Y. Bonds of Carthage, Texas.

Lauren is a graduate of Haughton High School and Louisiana Tech University.

Travis is a graduate of Airline High School and Louisiana Tech University. He is a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
After the wedding, the couple will make their home in Haughton.
