Ashley Renee’ Harris of Ivan and Brandon Michael Greene of Minden announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage, to be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Creekwood Gardens, Arcadia. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

The bride-elect is the daughter of William Jr. and Sandra Davis of Ivan. She is the granddaughter of the late William and Betty Harris and Buddy and Linda Furqueron of Tyler, Texas.

The future bride is a 2004 graduate of Benton High School. She is currently employed at Minden Farm and Garden.
The prospective groom is the son of George and Renee Greene of Minden. He is the grandson of Wayne and Virginia Greene, Carl and Gloria Collins and the late Shirley Collins.

The future groom is a 2005 graduate of Glenbrook High School and a 2007 graduate of Bossier Parish Community College with a degree in Industrial Control Systems. He is currently employed as an instrument tech for Udelhoven Oilfield Systems Services, Alaska.
