Funeral services for Mrs. Chris Mason Corley, 83, will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Bailey Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Jim Crain officiating.  A private family interment will follow in Spring Branch Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 p.m.  until the time of service.

Mrs. Corley was born July 24, 1926, in Springhill, to Grover Cleveland and Ona Mae Blackwell Mason and passed away Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, in Minden.  

She was a lifelong resident of this area, a member of the Springhill United Methodist Church and was a retired Benefit Clerk from International Paper Company after 41 years. Mrs. Corley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Bruce A Corley and wife, Sandra; and her grandson, Albert Brooks Corley, all of Minden.

Mrs. Corley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert A. “Al” Corley; a sister, Sadie Miller; and a brother, G.C. Mason.
