I think the whole game, there never was a lead larger than six points either way.” Minden led 15-10 after the first quarter, but Lakeside came back to lead 26-24 at the half. The Lady Warriors out-scored the Lady Tiders (10-8 and 16-14) in the final two quarters to get the win. “I thought it came down to us fighting hard and wanting it more at the end,” Davis said. “We put together some clutch free throws down the stretch and Minden gave us everything we could handle, it just came down to the end.” LaJoya Garner led Lakeside with 22 points and Daranesha Germany and Arnedia Wallace each scored 10. “I was pleased with our efforts,” Brown said. “And I did see some progress even in defeat.
