Airline’s Lady Vikings came from behind in the second half to score a 49-41 basketball victory over Plain Dealing Friday night.

Maddy Scheppers scored 16 points for Airline, which trailed 26-15 at the halftime intermission.

Breuna Doublas added nine points for the Lady Vikings, now 8-4 for the season.

Denisha Chambers scored 13 points and Shantel Briggs added 11 for Plain Dealing, which dropped to 6-2 for the season.

Plain Dealing took a 27-20 halftime lead in the boys’ game and held on for a 52-45 victory over the Vikings.

Dordarrius Gill scored 14 points and Yondarius Johnson added 12 for Plain Dealing, now 8-1 for the season.

Leon Carswell II scored 11 points to lead the Airline boys, now 8-4.

Airline’s boys and jgirls both travel to Many Tuesday night.
