The Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings will be in the Southwest Division, along with teams from Dallas, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, in the Arena Football  alignment this year.

The league office in Tulsa announced its 2010 divisional alignment Tuesday.

The 15 teams scheduled to play in the 2010 season are divided into two conferences, with subsequent geographical divisions.

The Battle Wings will be in the Southwest division of the American Conference, along with Dallas, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

The other division of the American Conference is the South Division.

It will include Alabama, Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa Bay

The National Conference will also consist of two divisions.

The Midwest Division will include Chicago, Cleveland, Milwaukee and Iowa.

The West Division will consist of Arizona, Spokane and Utah.

"With our Conferences and Divisions set as well the release of our 2010 season schedule, we are excited about the upcoming kickoff of our Inaugural Season,” said Commissioner Jerry Kurz. “Our fans expect and deserve the best of Arena Football competition and our teams, players and staffs are committed to meeting and exceeding their expectations.”
