Police seeks burglary suspect caught on video crashing through fence

Bossier City police are asking the public’s for information about a recent burglary in which the suspect fled the scene in a stolen pickup truck and crashing through a fence in the process.

The burglary occurred on the afternoon of Jan. 24 when an unknown suspect or suspects broke into a building at AAA Cooper Transportation in the 4700 block of Airline Drive and stole a company pickup truck loaded with several truck tires and rims.

A surveillance camera caught the suspect or suspects making their escape by making a getaway and driving the truck through a fence causing two tires to fall out of the truck bed.

The truck was found three days later in Shreveport in the 800 block of Stoner Avenue. A witness told police he saw the truck drive up to that location with a white male subject appearing to be in his late 20’s or early 30’s behind the wheel.

The man was wearing a black leather jacket, had a thin build and was about 5’7” tall. Minutes later the man was picked up by white male subject in his late 20’s driving an older late model Ford pickup truck.

Anyone who has information about this burglary is asked to call Bossier City police at (318) 741- 8831.
