Ben Martin will be the guest speaker for Night at the Museum Monday, February 8.
The pastor of St. Rest Baptist Church will speak in conjunction with Black History Month.
In addition to expanded outreach and mission work, Martin is active in the community, serving as a member of several parish boards.
He is involved in scouting, is a radio-controlled model airplane enthusiast and an avid gardener.
According to museum director Schelley Brown, Black History will be followed in March with football great Charlie Hennigan and in April with Confederate History Month.
Cost for Night at the Museum is $5. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at Christopher’s, 615 Main Street. Refreshments are served at 6 p.m.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with guests asked to bring their favorite finger food.
