A former Doyline resident who was arrested by Bossier City authorities on February 4 for terrorizing his ex-wife will face similar charges in Webster Parish.
David Allen Desadier, 39, who was living in the Lakewood subdivision in Bossier City at the time of his arrest, was arrested Thursday and charged with terrorizing, cyber stalking and improper telephone communication.
Webster Parish has placed a hold on Desadier in reference to an outstanding warrant issued for domestic abuse battery.
According to a press release issued by the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Shreveport Police Department and the Bossier Sheriff’s Office took Desadier, a Bossier City firefighter, into custody in Shreveport after he allegedly beat up his ex-wife in Doyline. Following the reported physical assault, Desadier is said to have sent the mother of his children threatening text and phone messages.
Bossier Sheriff’s investigators say in one message, he told her she needed to be thinking about picking out caskets for their kids — six-year old twin girls.
Webster Parish authorities say the department’s outstanding warrant was issued following a domestic disturbance on January 21 that occurred at Desadier’s ex-wife’s home in Doyline.
“They had a personal discussion that elevated and she filed charges,” said Webster Parish Public Information Officer Jenny Reynolds. “The kids were at home at the time.”
Reynolds said a detainer would be sent to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.
“If he makes bond (on Bossier charges), he will be immediately transferred to BDCC (Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center) and booked with a $5,000 bond,” said Reynolds.
Around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, the Bossier Sheriff’s Office issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) for Desadier. As a result of information provided by Bossier firefighters, Bossier deputies located Desadier’s empty vehicle at approximately 5:30 p.m. at Academy Sports on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop at I-49.
The press release states that Desadier was arrested upon his return to the store. Bossier Sheriff’s investigators say at least one weapon, a semi-automatic pistol, was found in the vehicle.
Desadier was transported to the Shreveport City Jail, then transferred to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond has been set at $205,000.
Desadier’s children were not harmed during any of the above incidents.
