A Bossier City man was arrested early Monday morning after allegedly entering another person’s residence without permission and then getting into an argument with his wife that led to minor injuries. According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jeffery Merril Parker, 47, of the 500 block of Glenwood, was arrested for domestic abuse battery and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
Parker was taken into custody after he followed his wife to an apartment belonging to her friend, watched the apartment and waited for his wife to exit — but once he determined she was not leaving, he went to the apartment, opened the door and went inside without permission. After entering, Parker found his wife, took her cell phone and left. Parker’s wife followed him outside and they began to argue. Parker’s wife said he shoved her down onto the concrete parking lot, bruising and scraping her arms. He admitted to entering the apartment without permission, but said he only threw his wife’s arm off of his. Parker was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond is pending. Aggravated battery Two Haughton men were arrested Saturday afternoon after an argument turned violent. According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lance Dean Rich, 34, of the 500 block of Alford Road, and Jason Harold Rich, 39, of the 1100 block of Oliver Road, were taken into custody after a verbal confrontation between the two escalated into a physical altercation. Both of them struck each other about the head and choked one another. After they separated, Lance Rich picked up a tire tool and tried to break into Jason Rich’s residence. Lance Rich stabbed the door with the tire tool and struck Jason Rich in the right forearm, causing a cut. After that, Lance Rich left the residence and was stopped at Highway 157 and West Jackson by Bossier Sheriff’s deputies. Both men were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. Lance Rich is charged with aggravated battery and his bond was set at $15,000. Jason Rich is charged with simple battery and his bond was set at $500. Missing Haughton woman A Haughton female is missing,and the Bossier Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating her. Nancy Miller, 39, of East Highland Mobile Home Park in Haughton, was last seen on Wednesday at home by her father. She lives alone and left everything behind – car, keys, purse, money and her medication. Miller is described as being 5’ 6” tall and around 240 pounds. She has dark reddish-brown, auburn hair. Miller’s family and detectives are working tirelessly to find her. If anyone has any information, they are urged to call the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at 318-965-2203. Views: 617
