Rutherford, St. Croix score winning goals David Rutherford and Chris St. Croix scored shootout goals to give the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs a 2-1 Central Hockey League victory over the Tulsa Oilers at the CenturyTel Center Thursday night.
Tulsa’s Jake Riddle put the Oilers ahead 1-0 in the second period with a power play goal, assisted by Aaron Davis and Troy Riddle. The Mudbugs evened the score with 42 weconds remaining in the second period on a power play goal by Travis Clayton, assisted by Jamie Milam and Shawn Limpright. There was no more scoring in regulation play, and neither team was able to find the back of the net in the overtime period. The Oilers were also shut out in the shootout, while Rutherford and St. Croix scored to give the Mudbugs the decision. Views: 386
