The Bossier Parish Police Jury and the Caddo Parish Commission will hold a joint special meeting Monday, Aug. 2, at 6 p.m. in Government Chambers at 505 Travis Street, Shreveport.

Earlier this year, Bossier and Caddo Parishes engaged Arpeggio Acoustic Consulting from Atlanta, Ga., to draft a comprehensive noise ordinance relative to the oil and gas production in the area. On Monday, Aug.2, at 6:00 p.m., Arpeggio will present the draft ordinance to the elected bodies and explain the proposal in detail. Police Jurors and Commissioners will ask questions of the consulting firm and receive comments from the public at this time.
