FARMERVILLE —The Minden Tennis and Aquatic Club tennis team recently took part a local tournament and played very well.

The tournament was held as part of the Watermelon Festival held in Farmerville  on July 23 and 24.

Singles Play:

Morgan Rowland advanced to the semi-finals before losing.

Amelia Christie advanced to the finals, and won her division.

Noah Woodard lost his first match, but but battled back to win the Consolation Finals.

Ben Burns advanced to the finals and won his division.

Tori Pesses advanced to finals before losing.

Megan Revelle advanced to semi-finals before losing.

Doubles:

Morgan Rowland and Amelia Christie advanced to the semi-finals.

Noah Woodard and Ben Burns advanced to finals and won their division.

Tori Pesses and Megan Revelle advanced to the finals.
