Dorothy Elaine RobbinsFuneral services for Mrs. Dorothy Elaine Robbins, 74, of Doyline, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 29, 2007 at Rose-Neath Chapel with the Rev. George Rogers and the Rev. Buck Furlow officiating. Interment will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

Visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mrs. Robbins was born in Hall Summit and died Aug. 27 in Bossier City. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Matt Carl Robbins; one son, Lloyd Robbins; two grandsons, Dusty and Rusty Robbins; her parents,  Oscar McBride and Cora McBride Raley; and her stepfather, Fred Raley.

She is survived by two sons, Carl Len Robbins and wife Doris of Haughton and Ray Robbins and wife Chris of Doyline; one daughter, Diana Lynn Adkins of Benton; one daughter in law, Debbie Robbins; seven grandchildren, Selena Kirsch, Heath Hayden, Beth Colvin, John Robbins, Tanya Vancleave, Matt Adkins and Amy Adkins; one sister, Tommie Bolen of Shreveport; and two brothers, Allen McBride of Marksville and Fred Raley, Jr. of Shreveport.

Pallbearers will be Matt Adkins, Matt Kirsch, John Colvin, Chris Mayfield, Craig Scogins and Mike Garrett.

Honorary pallbearer will be John Robbins.

Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the memorial of choice.
